Wonderful Drive
The actual racing in the game is polished, exciting, and just plain out fun. Controls feel tight, physics feel like an arcade game done right, and the AI opponents are always in your face. Time trials provide a great way to just do pure racing and work hard to find all the shortcuts and cut down your time down by milliseconds. Race modes provide intense action as enemy opponents put up great fights as you head towards the end. Crash mode, which lets players attempt to create the biggest crashes possible through perfect placement and timing of their crashes, is an addicting experience and the Xbox 360 version makes it even more enjoyable with ten exclusive crash mode levels. Overall, whether you just want to race to the finish line or send an entire city block up in flames, Burnout Revenge has it all and has it all done well.
Incredible Experience
Unlike certain other X360 games that feel short and rushed for the launch window, Burnout Revenge has gameplay and replay value packed in spades. With dozens of tracks, modes, cars, and online options, the game will provide fun for dozens on dozens of hours and most likely last players until the next ground-up Burnout game is released. While it’s not a perfect package as the loading is too long and does get annoying between events, in the end whether you’re a fan of single player gaming or online gaming Burnout Revenge provides the definitive racing experience on the Xbox 360 and shouldn’t be missed by any system owners.
