If you're into the story aspect of this series then Goddess of Dawn will not disappoint. In yet another example of how this was supposed to be a GC sequel, the story is directly connected with the Cube version and enhances it in many ways. If you want to get the most out of this one when it hits your region you're going to want to play through the GC version and have that save inserted into your Wii when you start up this one. You'll get a bunch of neat bonuses that you wouldn't get otherwise.
You'll turn off the time wasting combat animations pretty quickly.
While the game has very old graphics even for a Gamecube game and seriously aged story presentation, none of that really matters when it comes to SRPGs does it? The gameplay is as solid as ever, if a bit on the extremely hard side, and the maps are both engaging and fun. It's a dream for fans of the series.
Import Friendly?
Still no Freeloader for Wii's and it's very Japanese text heavy though if you've ever played an SRPG things aren't that bad in the menu department.
