All the difficult settings do is increase the number of bugs around so unless you like swinging the Wiimote for hours on end for no reason then you might not want to go with anything higher than the default easy. You’ll eventually find healing items and other weapons which you can equip into a couple slots which can be hot swapped in game. Although to equip things to these slots you have to go into the pause menu which has loading screens between menus. It’s incredibly slow and annoying to say the least.
Then there are the famous graphics. They look worse than the screenshots most of the time and truly do look like first-generation Dreamcast models and textures. The ape enemy is so ugly and polygonal that you’d swear it was ported from the original Playstation. But while the visual quality isn’t great, the continuity of the settings and the bugs and the way the characters look all fit together. Still they’re horribly outdated.
Deep in it.
So overall it’s a boring ugly game with complicated controls and a B-Flick storyline. Who can’t wait for the US release!?
