Ennichi no Tatsujin Review

Gamer gives it 45%

Ennichi no Tatsujin is an extremely simple set of mini-games set at a Japanese carnival on acid. You simply choose a save game slot, select the game you would like to compete in and you’re off. The game allows for two player competition in some of the mini-games but this is mostly a single player affair. If you’re a huge fan of Wii Play then this compilation might be right up your alley.

Grandpa saves the day.

The first game known as Yo Yo Tsuri has you holding the Wiimote by the tail end. You wobble it around and lower and raise it in order to try to hook loops inside a pool of water. I found this game to be extremely unresponsive and pretty difficult to complete just because of the controls. That being said, you can get good at it if you have the patience.

Wobble wobble.

The second game known as Shateki is a simple shooting gallery. Aim the Wiimote at an object and press the A button to shoot. As you progress through the over 30 difficulties you’ll have to deal with bullets that swing left and right and all kinds of win requirements. This is by far the most fun game in my opinion.

Shoot the guy in the background for a fun surprise.

Next up is Takoyaki which has you frying up some octopus! Tip the Wiimote to poor and then also to scoop the delectables out once they’re done cooking.

Cooking Mama lite.
