Another part of the battle system is the interesting AI that you can adjust with AI points. These points is allocated into the different AI commands, such as attacking with a weapon, healing, using items, fighting along side the player, etc. While it’s a good system its still not perfectly polished, which as stated above causes problems such as the mage casting whatever it feels like. But it still works very well over all since you never have a real problem with because of bad AI you get screwed over.

Over all I think Valhalla Knights will be a great addition to any ones PSP game library; who is looking for a different type of RPG. I myself have still not cleared it, and for those that enjoy a bigger challenge, there is a hardcore difficulty mode that becomes unlocked after you clear the game once. One thing that I must warn people about is that this games difficulty level at starting is rather high, with the amount of damage the monsters can do. But with a little effort and time leveling up your characters this should not be a problem. Also another problem is just the sheer amount of fighting you will be doing to level up your characters and collecting items might drive some users insane, but for those who like volume in their games, this is one that has it, plus its got a nice old school feeling to the game formula the designers present to you with Valhalla Knights.

In the sense of it being import friendly, there are some issues with the quests and that might be a little difficult for those who cant read Japanese, but since its generally get to a certain location in the dungeon, with a little patience all quests can be cleared. Also the AI and status point allocation might be a little difficult for those who are not able to read. But the game itself is generally dungeon crawling with lots of fighting, so I think even those who cant read Japanese will be able to enjoy the game.
