One thing that keeps the game interesting is the wide variety of monsters that appear. So far there are you standard fare of humans with the mix of fantasy based monsters. But what was a pleasant surprise was the large type of monsters such as golems and dragons. But be ready for quite a battle if you do encounter them in your journey. This is where you will thank the dev team for putting in the Combination Guard system.

Necromancers, Dark elves, and Trolls oh my! Depending on the monster type of enemy you fight also determines the possible skill stones that are dropped. For example fighters will drop sword type of skill stones while spearmen will drop spear skills and so on. If you are lucky with one of the thief characters skill steal ability you might be able to snatch up one of the stronger skills from the various boss characters.
Overall I must say that this game has been more than a pleasant surprise and as always Level5 has delivered us with an excellent game with beautiful graphics, music, and a sound story. By all means for you SRPG fans out there pick this game up! I can guarantee that you will not be disappointed! I myself have still yet to clear this game and it seems that there will be more than enough volume left to satisfy the casual to the hardcore gamers. This is one game that is worth its weight in gold.
While being able to understand Japanese to enjoy the story, it is not necessary to play the game. Most of the skills and mission requirements are all straight forward and with a little trial and error even someone with no Japanese skill will be able to enjoy the game and move forward with the story. Plus those of you who have played SRPGs before then most of the interface and features will be very familiar to you.

• Lots of volume. Should give most players a decent run before clearing it.

• Preset character classes are too similar. Larger variation would have been great.
  
• The turn limit in battles.
  
• Once you enter a battle zone you are unable to exit back out to the main map so beware when saving, or make more than one save file. This is a rather major problem since you can totally fubar your game if you are not careful.
