Tekken 5: Dark Resurrection Review

(Tekken 5: Dark Resurrection for Arcade Games)
Lyte Edge gives it 91%

What separates this version of Tekken from the rest of the series' home releases is that this game is a straight arcade port. As such, none of the extras usually packed into Tekken games, such as FMV endings for every character, extra modes like time attack and bowling, and more are nowhere to be found. The biggest loss in this port is the lack of a training mode of any kind. Namco should have included this option, and as the game has yet to be released outside of Japan at the time of this writing, perhaps the American release will see it added.

Those wanting a lot more features, modes, and a deeper single-player experience should stick with the PSP version, although the strengths in the PS3 version of the game are its better visuals, and much more importantly, the ability to play the game on a TV and much more accessable multiplayer. But despite the lack of modes, for the price, it's really hard to go wrong with Tekken 5 Dark Resurrection on the Playstation 3.
