GrimGrimoire Review

Gamer gives it 90%

From here on out you will gain more options that will enable you to build better units, better buildings, and perform all kinds of special actions. The game starts out slow but picks up pace rapidly as you get more and more access to abilities and characters. This micro-management significantly increases the difficulty later in the game partially due to the fact that you can't easily jump to certain areas of the map. The game really needs a mini-map that can be used to jump around the map instantly like in most modern day RTS's. But scrolling issues aside, I found every single level to be both satisfying and fun. This unique take on the genre on a console really got me excited about the whole RTS game spectrum again.

Anime Harry Potter has some tasty gameplay.

The art in this game along with the sound is absolutely fitting and extremely well made. I love that the cutscenes that look like they're in 2D actually featured 3D models. Also all the levels with their many levels of parallax and their expertly crafted units look and feel great. The background music along with the unit voice commands and the attack effects bring the sound out as well and really round out the package.

Somebody took a dump on the crystal... better fix it.

It's a console RTS that controls well, looks great, sounds great, and is fun from start to finish. Buy this game now or pre-order it for when it releases in your territory.
Import Friendly?

You'll miss the story and menus but everything else can be learned through trial and error.
