The interface and exercises remain mostly in a professional looking grey tone apart from the graphs and the hidden Doctor Mario game you can play to relax after some rigorous brain training.

Its Dr. Mario!
Overall, Brain Age 2 has a good variety of exercises that are much more entertaining than the first set that came with the prequel. If you got bored or found the exercises of the first Brain Age too easy then, this second title may just be what youre looking for.
Import Friendly
Without knowing Japanese youll miss out on about 5 of the exercises and be at a disadvantage during the Kanji memorisation part of the Brain Age Check. Also, you wont be able to understand the little tips the Professor gives you after each exercise or the little questions he gives you when you login. Even so, theres still enough variety in the exercises to keep you entertained. Writing certain numbers such as 7 in strokes may take some getting used to.
Pros
- A greater variety of tests compared to the sequel.
- Interesting new selection of greetings such as how it analyses your handwriting to determine your personality.
- Has a mini version of Nintendos classic Doctor Mario.
Cons
- Voice and handwriting recognition is still a bit flaky.
