However, it can be frustrating now and then when the passwords are not so obvious. Once youve found yourself some case-sensitive passwords to enter, you input them using a non-standard keyboard via the touch screen that surprisingly, has a lower case lock key instead of a caps lock key. While at the start, you can test out as many passwords as you can, other scenarios will limit how many you can try before you get caught.

Password hacking isnt limited to computers however as youll also find yourself trying to figure out the number code required to unlock doors to new locations.



How good are your hacking skills?

Besides hacking password protected computers to get the evidence you need, you will also find yourself playing a selection of mini games which include fending off enemy hackers trying to get rid of evidence, killing off viruses or hacking through network firewalls. Mini games are always presented in simple 3D graphics and involve a simple task. They are fairly entertaining and if not, has a good general sci-fi look to them as if you were entering a cyber world.

In one mini game, you pose as the defence program that Satoru sets up to fend off intrusion attacks. Attacks come in the form of 3D rotating shapes that float slowly towards the screen and you have to tap the shaded side to destroy them. There is usually more then one stage and as you would expect, the mini game gets slightly harder as pass each stage. At first, there is no penalty for hitting the wrong surface of a shape but, as you progress, youll be faced with shapes that split into two or ones that speed towards the screen. You can get hit a number of times before its game over.
