 Synopsis In the solar system of Tarotaro, the 5 stars Planet of Fire, Planet of Wood, Planet of Wind, Planet of Water and Planet of Earth orbit... Each with their distinct environment and civilization. And there, somewhere in the solar system of Tarotaro was another planet known as Kovamaka. Kovamaka was known as the planet of magic. Magic was the centre of its civilization and many mages who study at the Magical Academy of Will-o-Wisp later work to support the government and their culture. One day, some bad news reached the headmaster Gran Dragee of the Magical Academy. One of his graduates Jin Leo was working in another part of space, planning to destroy the solar system of Tarotaro. Hoping to tend to the situation before it was too late, Gran Dragee decides to send Jin Leo's former teacher Madeline into space. Soon, it's been months and the teacher had not yet returned. Madeline's students become concerned about her and decides to set off into space themselves in search of their dear teacher, not knowing what dangers laid ahead... Features:

3.0 Menus & Controls Title Screen When you first run the game, you will only have one option, "New Game". Once you have some game data saved, you will have the following options at the title screen: New Game Continue Wi-Fi Wi-Fi Here you have: Trade Amigo Dungeon Amigo List Trade allows you to obtain Tamagos (eggs) and rare items once you get connected through your consoles Wi-Fi. You can then trade with other players on the network. Once you have an egg, you can hatch it in your rocket's hatchery to obtain a creature that can fight alongside your party. However, unlike your normal party members, he/she can't level up the regular way. You must trade with another player for it to gain experience.
Amigo Dungeon is where you can compete against up to 5 other players in getting the most points in the selected dungeon. In there, you must defeat as many monsters and open as many treasure chests as you can to gain the most points.
Amigo List as the name suggests, is where you keep track of all your friends. You can also edit your own greeting message and the background for it. Continue Here you have two options once you choose a saved file, Continue or Delete Data. Once you choose either option, you must choose Yes (left option) to confirm. In-Game The whole game is practically controlled via your stylus. However, you may still use the D-Pad to control where your characters walk although this can be very slow.
To the top-right, you will see a star. By tapping this, you can cycle between a map with a sandglass clock, orbit map or character status. Along the bottom-left, is your Pouchette which contains the magical symbols for each of your characters. By tapping any of these, the characters will use their magic on the map to help solve a puzzle. There will also be an NDS in the Pouchette. At the top, you can see how much money you have and the playtime. By tapping a character portrait, you can view the following stats: HP MP Strength Intelligence Defence Vitality Speed Along the bottom of the NDS menu will be the buttons: Item, Map, Members, Memo, Position, Save, Cancel. Item Here the items you obtain are separated into the following categories: Healing Power Up Gear Battle Use Key Items Misc To use any item, just double tap it and then select the character you want to use it with. Map This is where you can view maps of places where you have already been to. You may also warp to places where you have handed over an item to a creature with a top hat. Members This is where you can manage your party. The maximum number of active members in a party is 6 so using this option, you can switch characters or Tamago creatures in and out of your party. Memo Here you can view four things - Monster Encyclopaedia, Adventurers' Handbook, Everyone's Diary and Amigo List.
Position This is where you can drag your party members to the position you want to be in when a battle occurrs. Save Self-explanatory. When saving over an existing file, you will have to confirm. 4.0 Battles, Magic and Positions As with most RPGs, you will encounter random battles while walking around the map and they will be turn based. Madeline runs you through a fairly detailed tutorial at very early point of the game but, if you played through it already and didn't understand what was going on here are the details. In battle, each of your character can be placed in the front or back row. You can do this by moving them using the Reposition command during battles or while your walking around the map, by going into the NDS menu. When a character is at the back row, they can not be attacked with normal physical attacks such as kick and punch as long as there is someone in the front row. The only way of attacking them is by using magic or knocking out the front row characters first. Characters in the back row, can not use physical attacks either for the same reason because someone is blocking their way. However, they can still use magic. Using magic in the back is different from using it in the front row. To avoid hitting their own party members, the caster will launch their magic high into the air, spreading out the spell. This causes it to damage a whole area of monsters while at the same time, lowering the damage the overall spell inflicts. In the front row, a character can perform both physical and magical attacks. Magical attacks become more concentrated than in the back row and so, does more damage but only hits one enemy at a time.
In-game time and elements can also affect damage in the game. If you look at the orbit chart, you will see that it's split into 5 colours, each with a starsign representing a different element. You'll also see planets orbitting around the sun and an hourglass showing whether it's day or night. Every character (including monsters) will have their own starsign and element. When the planet that you're currently fighting on falls into one of the coloured sections that matches the monster's or your character's starsign, they will gain something called the "Divine Protection of the Stars". This gives the character a boost in attack power. For example, Pomodoro is under the Fire starsign so when the planet he is on falls into the red section, he will get a boost in attack power. For your main character, night and day will be what gives you a boost. You will know a character has Divine Protection when he/she is glowing white. As you may have guessed, each starsign will also have a weakness. Using Pomodoro as the example again, if a planet happens to fall into the blue water section, his attacks will be less effective. Even so, his fire attacks will still be strong against wood based characters. To see which starsign is currently in favour, you can look at the row of starsigns at the top screen during battles. Below is a chart of the weaknesses and strengths of each element.
As your main character can be granted Divine Protection during the day or night, you can choose whether to rest at an inn until day (top option) or night (bottom option). Points that Madeline didn't mention during the tutorial however is that you can give your spells a little boost in attack power and lower the damage received when using Guard. Magic Break Tap your caster just as your character finishes casting and the incantation on the ground is about to disappear for an increase of 1.5x in spell power. You'll hear an echo sound and see a burst of rays if you're successful. Just Guard Tap your character just as he/she's about to get hit to lower damage taken. 5.0 Walkthrough Starting a new game will allow you to choose the starsign your character belongs too, the Star of Light (left) or Star of Darkness (right). Choosing Light will allow your character to use healing magic and is aimed at the beginner. Dark will allow the character to use drain magic, aimed at the experienced player. Once you've chosen your starsign, you may choose to be male or female. You can then name your character using the 3 character sets Hiragana, Katakana and the English Alphabet. Tap the third button from the left, along the bottom to use English characters. Once ready, tap the blue arrow then tap OK if you're satisfied with the details. At this point, you can rename the other characters by tapping their name and doing the same. If you're OK with their names, hit OK. For this walkthrough, I'll be playing through Light Magic but the stories should be exactly the same. The only difference is the way you fight. Note that there are many Yes/No questions during the game. To choose yes, pick the top option and to choose no, pick the bottom option. Will-o-Wisp Magical Academy. Pomodoro: Hey, [Player Name] Class should have started long ago and Madeline Sensei still isn't here... What's up with that?! Sugar: She's probably late again. It always happens. Nothing to get worked up about. Chai: Haa... This is the 30th time she's late this year... Jasmine: She's here! Someone rushes into the classroom. Madeline: Mo- Morning, everyone! Sorry, I'm a little late. I presume everyone has been self-studying?! Caffellatte: Boo~ Boo~! Sensei's late!! Pomodoro: Come on, Sensei. You need to sort yourself out~ It's going to be your fault if I have to repeat the year again! Madeline: Ahahaha! Sorry, everyone! Today will be the last day that I'll be late! I won't be late again! Ahaha... Ahahahahahaha! Our story begins on a small planet named Kovomaka, in the solar system of Tarotaro. There, in the solar system of Tarotaro, many other planets exists too. Planets that had their own civilisation. But to the many people who lived on Kovomaka... It was all just fairy-tales. However... A hot-blooded man who's efforts are unsurpassed, always acting like the leader and who is a fire mage, Pomodoro... A calm and cool water mage who works hard at everything, Sugar... A magical robot that the headmaster bought from the town of Kottou, an earth mage, Caffelatte... A young boy who loved rare items and who was a member of the Salamander Tribe, wood mage Chai... A mischievous and easy going girl of the Rabbit Tribe, wind mage, Jasmine... And... At the center of them all, the [Chosen Magic] mage, [Player Name]. These 6 classmates from a magical academy, were going to set off on a journey into the fairytales. Bell rings. Two pupils are spying from outside a room. Jasmine: Uheeheeheehee! Look! The headteacher's mad at Madeline Sensei! Caffelatte: She's been late for 30 times after all. The headmaster might have her head. The others arrive. Jasmine: .... Caffelatte: .... Sugar: What's wrong? Caffelatte: .... Jasmine: There's something odd about the way they're talking... Inside. Gran Dragee: Madeline... You are the only one I can entrust this with... Could you not leave your students with me and go? Madeline: You want me to go to the Planet of Wind, Cotton...? Gran Dragee: That's right... I want you to find out what a certain mage is up to there. Madeline: A certain mage...? Gran Dragee: He was a student of yours, once. A mage named Jin Leo. I hear that he's been carrying out a lot of evil deeds, working under the Space Pirates. He has excels in magic as a graduate from this academy. His power is great in battle... Madeline looks about. Madeline: You mean Jin Leo's...? That kind hearted boy? Why would he...? The eavesdroppers barge in. Jasmine: Madeline Sensei! Are you realy going to the Planet of Wind, Cotton? What is that place? What's this all about?! Caffelatte: Sensei!! Please tell us everything! What's this about fighting?! And these Space Pirates! Madeline: You all... Heard what we said...? Sugar: Sensei! What do you mean by planet...? You mean you're going to those twinkling stars in the night sky?! Madeline: It's alright! Don't worry, everyone! That day, Madeline summoned the students into the Zen Room after class. Chai: Why did Madeline Sensei summon us all here of a sudden, I wonder. Sugar: I don't know... Madeline Sensei feels different from the usual... Jasmine: Pomodoro's probably done something again! Pomodoro: Hey, don't look at me! She hasn't found out yet! Er, I done nothing! Caffelatte: [Player Name], why don't you go ask Sensei for us? Sugar: Please, [Player Name]!
  • Walk on up and speak to Madeline.
Madeline: Oh, you're here [Player Name]. Everyone else walks up. You're all here too I see. Chai: Madeline Sensei! What are we going to do now? Madeline: I'm going to teach you all the basics of fighting. It's no normal way of fighting so I want you all to listen carefully. I'm going to teach you how to fight in space. Pomodoro: How to fight in space?! Jasmine: Space?! Do you mean we'll be going to the Planet of Wind with you?! Madeline: No, I'll be going there alone. I don't have time to explain why. Come forth, [Player Name]! Lesson 1, we'll start with the basics. Try touching the button to the top-right corner. Tap button. That's right. You can Kick, [Player Name]. Touch the Kick button. Tap Moves button. Next, touch the monster you want to Kick. Touch the one glowing white first. Kick monster. Well done. Next we'll try using magic. Touch Magic icon. You can use [Chosen Magic]. As you level up, you will be able to use other magic. But for now, you can only use this. Choose the magic you want to use from the list then select your target. Smash monster. Very good! You require MP (Magic Power) to use magic. Be aware that you can't use any if you don't have enough MP. But you don't have to worry too much as MP replenishes slowly during battle. Tap Items icon. Kaerugumi is an item that replenishes HP (Hit Points). Once your HP drops to 0, you lose conciousness. And it's game over if all your party member loses conciousness. Next, I'll explain guarding. Tap Guard icon. This is defence stance. You can lower the damage inflicted by a monster by guarding. Of course, you won't be able to win like this. Tap Repeat icon. This is the Repeat icon. This repeats the last command you used. Tap Run icon. This is Run. When it looks like you'll lose and you don't want to use MP, running is probably the best choice. And that's lesson 1! Lets rest for a moment! These are the basics of fighting. Do you understand?

Well, lets move on. I'll teach you about front rows and back rows. [Player Name] and Chai, come forward. Lesson 2! Front and back rows. [Player Name] is in the front and Chai is in the back. Monsters also have the same positions. Lets talk about being in the front row first. Just like in lesson 1, you can attack using magic or moves on monsters that are in the front row. However... You can not use any moves to attack monsters in the back. Monsters in the front are blocking the way. Kick front monster. Monsters in the back weren't glowing, were they? When you want to attack monsters in the back using moves, you'll have to defeat the ones in the front first. If that's too much trouble, you can use magic to attack. Magic will allow you to attack monsters in the back. You should all show off some flashy magic since you're mages! Attack a glowing monster with magic. Now I'll talk about the back row. You can't use moves to attack monsters from that position. Trying to tap the Move icon. See? The Move button is greyed out. Remember that you can't attack monsters in the back with moves. Now if you use Magic... Try it and see. Attack with magic. Now how about that? If you attack from the back row using magic, all the monsters get hit! Members in the back row can concentrate more and, to avoid hitting comrades in the front row, they propel their magic higher into the air. And this results in an area effect attack. However, as the magic is scattered out, attacks become weaker. Monsters can also attack your entire group so take care. Now we'll end lesson 2 by talking about movement. Moving will allow you to move between the front and back rows. It's best to all positions planned out before a battle, however. But if you really need to, do this to reposition your members. Now touch the Move button then select your character. Hold your stylus down and slide him into position. After moving character. Well, done. That's lesson 2 over! Please familiarize yourself about the front and back rows. If you don't, you won't be able to use your magic effectively. Do you understand?

Now for lesson 3. [Player Name] and Sugar, come forward. For lesson 3, I will teach you about the planets. It's very important so listen very closely! First, I'll tell about starsigns. Touch the bottom-left button to confirm. After bringing up the chart. All of us including monsters are watched over by our own planet. That's what a starsign is. For example, Sugar's starsign is the Planet of Water. Each starsign has its own strengths and weaknesses so, pay attention to the chart above. Red represents the Planet of Fire, green the Planet of Wood, yellow the Planet of Wind, brown the Planet of Earth and blue the Planet of Water. Finally, there is also white for the Planet of Light and black for the Planet of Darkness. By keeping the relations in mind, you will be able to use your magic wisely. Now then, Sugar. Try using your magic. Using water magic. How was that? That caused a lot of damage, didn't it? That's because Sugar's water magic is strong against the monster based under the fire starsign. If the magic is strong, it will inflict twice as much damage. Similarly, if the magic is weak, it will inflict half the usual damage. That's where magic is different from moves such as punch and kick. Lets take a look at the actual planets next. Touch the button to the bottom-left to see the orbitting planets. Here, you can see the Sun, Planet of Fire, Planet of Wood, Planet of Wind, Planet of Water and Planet of Earth. Think of this planet as its own. The sun projects 5 different colours of light, dividing the map into 5 coloured areas. When your planet enters the area of its own colour, the planet's aura will be your friend. I'm sure you'll understand once you set out into space. This is known as the "Divine Protection of the Stars". Don't forget OK? About the "Divine Protection of the Stars". That's lesson 3! And to add to that, those under the Planet of Light will receive Divine Protection during the day while, those under the Planet of Darkness will receive it during the night. Remember that well. So, are you a little more familiar with fighting in space?

Well, that's all the basics. I'm sure you'll do well. Now the final lesson. Try defeating the target.

That's the end of the lessons. Everything you've learned so far is written inside your Adventure Guide. You can read it by opening up your Magical Navigator inside your Pochette whenever you like. With it, you should be alright when you leave for space. Sugar: Sensei! What do you mean "leave for space"? You mean we're going into space?! Chai: Are we going into space with you, Sensei? Madeline: I'll be going into space alone. But... I feel there's something not right in my heart... Just in case, I'm teaching you all everything I know. Caffelatte: What do you mean by "just in case"? Madeline: I don't know... I feel as if... Something bad is going to happen... Let me say one last thing. All of you have a power. Believe in that power. Later, the next day, Madeline Sensei was no longer to be seen in the academy. The headmaster Gran Dragee wouldn't tell us anything but, looking down... He said with his back turned, full of sadness and regret, "Maybe I should have been the one that should have gone." 3 months later... Pomodoro: She's not here... Chai: No, she isn't. Sugar: What's wrong, Pomodoro, Chai...? Are you looking for someone? Pomodoro: Yeah, we're looking for Jasmine. She suddenly said to us that she was going to go into space... Caffelatte: Space?! What's she going to do there?! Chai: Jasmine probably wants to go to the Planet of Wind to find Madeline Sensei. It's been 3 months and Madeline Sensei hasn't returned. She must have ran into danger. Sugar: Hmmm... I understand how she feels but, go into space? How is she going to do that...? .... Uh-oh... Don't tell me... Pomodoro: You know something? Sugar: Hey, Caffelatte. Wasn't there rumours about a rocket being hidden somewhere in the academy? Caffelatte: What? A rocket?! Yes, I heard rumours about that but... Pomorodo: That's it!! She must be there! Chai! Lets go! Off to the rocket! We'll turn the academy upside down to find it! Chai: Wooohoo! Lets go hunting! Sugar: Hey, wait for me! I can't relax with just two of you going. I'll come too. Caffelatte: How can there be a rocket hidden here?! I really don't believe this...
  • Speak to Caffelatte. He asks if you're going to find this rocket too. Pick the first option, yes. He'll laugh and join in.
  • Exit the room then take the stairs to the second floor. Enter the last room to the right and take the stairs up. Find Sugar inside the storage room.
Sugar: Ah, you're here [Player Name]. Look at this wall. There's something odd with it. What do you think? Caffetatte: You're right... It looks like someone can climb up it...
  • Tap the wall and choose the first option to climb up it.
Inside a secret room. Sugar: Uwaa! What's this?! Hey, Caffelatte! What is that? Caffelatte: That's... It looks like someone's been experimenting in here. Sugar: Experimenting? !!! Walks up to a big door with a face. Then... What's with this door?! Caffelatte: Gege... Wh- What is that! I have no record of it in my databank.
  • Go up to the door and select the first option yes when prompted.
Door: Do thy wish to open the way to the heavens? Answers question. I can only grant wings to the great ones who possess magical powers, to travel the heavens. Show me proof of your magicical powers by revealing the symbol of [Chosen Magic] from your Pochette.
  • Open up your Pocette and tap the magical symbol.
Showing the symbol of Light. Sugar: Wh- What's happening?! Caffelatte: My- My eyes hurt! Door: The way to the heavens is open. Door opens up. Caffelatte: Wow! Amazing, [Player Name]! The door's open now! Sugar: I can't believe there would be such a thing in the storage room... I wonder who made it.
  • Go on in to explore.
Caffetatte: Beee~ Beee~ Beee~ I can sense another lifeform within the dust. Sugar: That has to be Jasmine! What is she up to? Caffetatte: There's seems to be a ladder ahead. Sugar: A ladder?
  • Go on up to find some rockets.
Sugar: Wh- What is that? A rocket...? Caffelatte: A- Amazing... They don't seem tobe broken... We might be able to go into space with these... Others arrive. Pomodoro: Woah!! What's with this room?! What are these things doing here?! Chai: Wo- Wow... There really are rockets here... Sugar: I was kind of dubious that Madeline Sensei really went to the Planet of Wind but... Now I believe she really went...
  • Walk on up to the rockets.
Machine: Launch preparations for Space Pod No. 1 has been completed. Scramble Gate opening. Scramble Gate opening. Proceeding into final stage in 70 seconds and counting. Short video cutscene of the school tower opening up. Pomodoro: Woah!! The roof's split open! Is it going to launch?! Inside the rocket. Jasmine: Lets see, this button turns on the power... Then what does this one do...? I doubt this thing will really launch. Video of the rocket being launched, leaving Jasmine's friends in the dust.
  • Check if everyone's OK then, go into the right rocket. Answer yes (top) when asked if you want to get on.
Machine: Sub-Monitor on. Main Monitor on. Energy charge commencing. Pomodoro: Ugh... What happened... Machine: Fuel tank 95% filled. System all green. Launch preparations complete. Please pull the lever.
  • Pull the lever.
Main engine activated. Space Pod launching. Pomodoro: [Player Name]?! The school shakes and the headmaster Dragee tried to break into the store room. An opening video then plays and Jasmine crash lands into the Planet of Earth, Hikalabita.
  • Tap your character to wake him/her up.
  • Check the rocket to the right for some water. Then go check on Jasmine.
Jasmine: Ugh... Ugh... Get me the... Kovomaka water from the rocket... Handing over the water. Jasmine: Gulp... Gulp... ... Ahhh! I'm alive again~! Huh? [Player Name]?! Does that mean I'm still on Kovomaka...? I'm sure I was flying through a dark sky, though... Kovomaka was growing smaller and smaller... And other stars were growing bigger and bigger... Then before I knew it, one was right in front of me! But it's alright now! You're here after all! Lets go, [Player Name]! Jasmine joins the party. By the way, is the rocket OK? Shall we check it?
  • Go and check the rocket for Jasmine.
Jasmine: It's no good. It seems to be broken... This place doesn't seem like the Planet of Wind, Cotton either. What shall we do... We're lost in space. Well, at least the healing machine's working it seems. We can come back here if we get hurt!
  • Select the first option to get healed.
  • Head on up north and try to go in between the rocks. You can't. Use Jasmine's wind magic by opening your Pouchette and tapping her symbol. The storm will die down enough for you to progress and you will have to fight a giant antlion. Just smash it with magic and you'll kill it.
Jasmine: What happened to the storm? It's gone?! Hey, [Player Name]. You [Chosen Magic] should come in handy somewhere too! A big antlion appears. Gyaaaaaaa!! After the fight. Hey, [Player Name]! You showed some really great power there! Isn't that the Divine Protection of the Stars that Sensei was talking about?!
  • Go back to the rocket to heal yourself and then proceed north to find a large fortress.
Wh- What is that?! I don't know what it is but, it's huge!! Huge I tell you, [Player Name]!
  • Go on up to the door and Jasmine will ask if you want to go in. Select top answer, yes.
Don't tell me you're planning to go in! Answers yes. It's too dangerous... Can't you see how dangerous it looks? But if you're going, I'll go too~ Inside the Ruins of Huitre. It's so dark in here... [Player Name], I'm kind of scared.
  • Go left to find two security bots. You'll then be surrounded by two more and a fight breaks out. Easy fight.
Robot F1276: Intruders spotted. Removing. Jasmine: Gyaaa! What are they?! Runs back. Robot P6215: Intruders spotted. Removing. Jasmine: Gyaaaa! After the fight. Ueeeeeen! What is this place~?
  • Continue on upwards to the second floor.
You still planning to go on, [Player Name]? Lets just go back. I'm scared~
  • Answer no by picking the second option.
You're so brave. OK then, lets go on.
  • Needless to say, continue up to find a rocket.
Hey, [Player Name]... Is- Isn't that a rocket?
  • I chose second answer no just to see what happens.
You're probably right. It's just some statue the robots worship. ...Of course, it's not! That is a rocket! I'm sure we can go to other planets on it!
  • Try going on and more bots will come.
A- Again?! Robot K7012: Intruders spotted. Removing. A different looking robot appears from the rocket. Robot D12S: Intrudres spotted. Removing. Stun gun ready... Locking on target. OK. Jasmine: This doesn't look good... Lets run for it, [Player Name]! The robot knocks them out. In jail.
  • Use your chosen magic to blind the patrolling robot. It will fall in the spike pit.
  • Collect the item from the chest to the right then, use the switch panel. Select the first answer to use it.
Jasmine: Huh?! What's this?! Wh- What's happening? Are the robots back?! I- I have a bad feeling... Jasmine hides in the corner, facing the wall.
  • Go speak to Jasmine.
Waaaaah! Don't come near me! Go away!! Go away, you robots! Go away... ...[Player Name]?! Did you come to... Save me?
  • Top option yes.
Wo- Wow! You're amazing, [Player Name]!! Did you beat that robot?! I'm so grateful! Really grateful!!
  • Try leaving and the robot will get out of the spike pit to attack you. Again, easy fight bashing it with magic.
Ha! I'm just too good with [Player Name] around!

  • If you like, you can visit the library to the right before you leave. It contains books about how to cook worms, the history of the Planet of Earth and the Togemogura Tribe themselves.
  • Leave the room and go to the right area where you couldn't enter earlier. You'll find the king and minister next to a hole. Go down it.
  • Make your way through the passageway. You'll find frogs that you can tap to get some free Green Frog Gummies to replenish your HP. There will also be a pot that does the same thing and also worms you can try to capture to obtain some Yellow Worm Gummies to replenish your MP. Note that you'll get attacked by monsters if you try to grab them when they're underground.
  • When you're ready, make your way through the door to the NW. There will be two types of monsters that carry weapons in this passageway. A green type that is only vulnerable to magic and a blue type that is only vulnerable to moves. Towards the end, you'll find the huge boss Dark Demon King.

  • He will come with too helpers. The green one is weak to physical attacks and the red one to magical attacks. They will drag one of your members towards the Dark Demon King to drain your HP. The Demon King himself can attack your characters with a spray of acid and recall new helpers. Kill off one of the helpers and then hit the Demon King with your magic spells to win.

  • Now that you've turned on the machine, head out the cave and try to make your way north to the tower. You'll get stopped by 3 pairs two robots along the way. Once you're back at the crashlanding site, don't forget to replenish your HP/MP using the healing machine in the rocket.
  • Continue up to the tower entrance to get stopped by a group of 4 robots. An area magic attack with Jasmine will wipe them out and you can go in.

  • Fight your way up to the second level to fight the red robot that stunned you earlier.

  • So get pass him without him touching you. He will dash straight forward as soon as he sees you. Once you get past him to the top floor, you will have to fight the big surveillance robot to get to the rocket.

  • Continue on up onto the Great Dragon's Path and you'll meet another one of the otters.
Townsperson Malcom: Mages! Are you off to sort out the pirates?!

  • Make your way through the Great Dragon's Path where you'll fight random monsters as well as groups of pirates. You'll also find red coloured Rainbow Stones scattered here and there. If you collect 50 and give them to an otter, he'll make you a magical accessory. Half way along the path, the otter brothers will bring pots to revive your HP and MP. It's said the Legendary Pants they handed to you were washed in them...
  • Once you reach the freeze machine, you'll fight three more pirates and their boss.
Pirate Cart: Right, everything's going smoothly. We've lowered the temperature quite a bit. Pirate Dave: Well, nothing's happened so far. I guess that Fire Otter legend was just all a lie. Pirate Chris: Which means this planet is useless now. Lets go to another planet and find some mages. They notice Jasmine and the others. Pirate Cart: Who are you! Pirate Dave: What are you doing here? Pirate Chris: There's something odd about them... Pirate Cart: Get them! After the fight. Lubu Soryakyu: Oh... I sense some fierce magic.   • Head on east after Pomodoro into the next area. Go east past bridge 1 then go north up to a sign. Follow the path west until you reach another sign then go east here, past bridge 3 and into another area. Now go all the way north and go past another bridge to the west. Follow the path southwards until you reach a salamander and two rows of horned creatures.
Salamander Mamemame: What are they... Hey! Are you... Mages?
  • Answer yes to the salamander there.

  • Go on up to fight the Totem Bombs once you're ready.

  • These things are immune to magic and cause 200+ damage. Use physical attacks to knock them away as quickly as possible. After destroying the totems, Mamemame thanks you.
  • Now go into the Salamander Cave and speak with Sobako and her father. She says her father wants you to go to the pirates instead of his daughter but she doesn't know what to do. Sobako suggests you sleep so go speak with the salamander to the top to sleep.
  • Once you wake up, Sobako's gone missing. Check on Flower, the little girl.
Jasmine: Hmm? She looks different from earlier! Yaibaba: Don't go anywhere near her! You outsiders should never have meddled in our business! Caffelatte: Strangers...? Jasmine: What is he talking about...? Doesn't matter... Lets just find Pomodoro and Sugar quickly, [Player Name]!
  • If you speak with Yaibaba, their father again, he'll say that Sobako may have returned to the village.
  • Instead of returning, go to the left and speak with the salamander under the ladder. Answer yes when he asks if you want to pass.
  • Go on up the ladder and make your way past the frogs area to the north. You'll be fighting 3 pirate otters.
  • Once you beat them, a whole army will parachute down. You can't fight them all so, use Jasmine's wind magic to blow them away.
  • Go west into the next area then continue west, ignoring the first sign. At the second sign go north to find the pirates hideout.
Pirate Guard: Ah, you've brought the mage here, Sanguine. Sanguine: Lord Sanguine will accomplish my task he is given even if it means his life. Pirate Guard: Hahahaha! You have done well, Sanguine! These mages will be your last job! The ship is leaving! Get on now! Sanguine: Manners! Mind your manners!
  • The guard won't let you in through the front so take the south path until you reach the back. There's a gorilla here and he's not letting you pass either. Go near the tree then use Caffelatte's earth magic to shake the banana tree.
Jasmine: If he wanted to eat them that much, he could have went and got them himself... Pomodoro appears as the party walks towards the door. Pomodoro: What the?! You guys here already?! Damn it! How can you guys get here before me! Now you make me look like a lost kid!
  • I selected no when Pomodoro prompted.
But now that I'm here, you guys won't need to anything. I'l get this sorted in no time! You guys can go back to the village! Rushes into the pirate base. Caffelatte: Roger that! Good luck now! Jasmine: Stop fooling around!! He's the one that's going to drag us down!
  • Go on inside to catch an event.
Pirate: Intruders! Go get them! Gets propelled away by a girl. Another pirate comes along and knocks her down from behind. Pomodoro: Hey! Don't touch my girl! Sugar: Pomodoro...? Pomodoro: Sorry I'm late but, I'm here to rescue you. And don't even think I got lost! Sugar: Thank you. Take care of this one for me. Runs off. Pomodoro: Hey, wait! Sugaaaar! Ugo-! Pomodoro gets attacked from behind. That's sneaky! How dare you even mess with me!

  • Go on east to find Sugar. You'll fight a group of 5 pirates along the way before you reach the dock.

  • Return to the rocket and lets set out for the Planet of Wind, Cotton by selecting the bottom-left destination.
Jasmine: Alright! Lets find the Space Police! Pomodoro: This place is amazing! Caffelatte: Yeah! Lets go to the Space Police so that we can find Sensei fast. Turns round. Huh? That rocket... Everyone walks over. Jasmine: That's a school rocket! What's it doing here?! Pomodoro: Does that mean Chai took a rocket out here too?
  • Make your way out the east to find a car crushed by a big boulder. Use Caffelatte's earth magic to move it.
  • Continue east into the new area and go into the building to the center. A policeman will ask you to register at the reception. For the next few parts, you'll have speak to several people in order as they redirect you here and there. Go on up and register with the center receptionist. Now speak with the one to the far left then the one next to him. Now speak to the receptionist to the right of the centre one. Finally, speak to the far right one.
  • Go to the second floor and speak with the policeman to the far right first. Now speak to the others one after the other from right to left.
  • Go to the third floor and speak with the lady to the left. Next, speak to the centre policeman and he'll direct you through the door to the left. So, enter the door to the left and speak with the man there. He'll say the deputy has gone to the toilet. Go back out the room and go to the right. Enter the door next to the little toiletries to find the deputy, Ou Ryuuki. He needs toilet paper. Return outside and speak to the right policeman at the desk to get it.   • Take the rocket and travel to the Planet of Water, the top-right choice. Speak to the dwarf on the beach and answer yes when he offers to mod your rocket again. But he needs a Water Torino to do it. Answer yes to say you'll go get it from the otters for him.
  • Go east until you reach Pescato for an event. You'll find the space police is already there, sealing off the area.
Space Police: Who are you lot? This area's been sealed off! Now scram! Pomodoro: There's something important we need to get from this town! Please let us through. Caffelatte: Yeah! Let us through, please! We won't be long! Another officer arrives. Space Police B: What's all this fuss about... What's going on? Space Police A: Sir! Some strange people are asking me to let them pass! Space Police B: I don't know what you're here for but, we can't let you through. Now go back home. Space Police Shingard: Sir! They're not bad people! Space Police B: I don't care if they're bad or good! When I say it's sealed off, it's sealed off! Now they are not allowed through!   • Exit the town via the west while Shingard distracts his colleagues for an event. You'll find 3 otter pirates scraping at something. There you'll fight Lubu again.
Pirate Dokken: Damn it! This thing has some vitality! We just can't break through!! Jasmine: Pirates! They're here like that otter said! Space Police Shingard: Pi- Pirates?! So they're really here?! Lubu Sorakyu: Kukukuku... Just as Jin Leo-sama said. He knew you mages would come here! Party looks around. Caffelatte: Up there! Lubu Sorakyu: I know what you're after. You came for the Water Torino but I won't let you have it! I gave out the orders to take it before you arrive but... It looks like we'll have to take care of you first... Jumps down from the cliff.   • Lubu has the power to move planets, use single attack dark magic and also, an area effect flying kick that does about 100 HP damage to every member. His otter assistants have the same moves as before and will only leap at your party doing about 100 HP damage each time.
After the fight. I... I lost again... I'll remember this, mages! More Space Police members come running. Space Police A: Lubu-sama?! Space Police Shingard: "Lubu-sama"...? Colleague taps the policeman on the back. Space Police A: I- I mean, Rubu Sorakyu!! So this is where you've been hiding! Space Police B: Arrest him! Space Police A: You can't get away! Space Police B: This is west of Piscato. Bring the patrol UFO over! We've caught the pirates' leader, Lubu Sorakyu! A UFO comes to pickup Lubu but the otters run away. Space Police Shingard: Hey, you lot! You're under arrest! Hey, wait! Space Police B: Ge- Get them! Space Police A: Wait!
  • Go up to the seaweed and use Pomodoro's fire magic to burn it down. Go inside for a short event.
Chai: Wow, such a big rock. Pomodoro: What the hell is that?! Hey, tin can! Can you move it with your magic? Caffelatte: Stop talking rubbish. There's no way I can move that... Ah, Jasmine! What about your wind magic? Jasmine: Hmmm... No, I can't. There's no way wind can move a rock like that.
  • Use Chai's wood power to split the rock open.
Chai: Nature's power is amazing! Pomodoro: Hey, you're good! We wouldn't be able to get through if it wasn't for your magic! Chai: Teheheheh.
  • Go inside to collect the Water Torino the dwarves need. Start making your way back and some otters from the town will come stop you.
Story Teller Jean: Are you taking that away with you? Townsperson Angus: Our Water Torino... You'll be able to mod your rocket with it so that you can go to the Planet of Fire. But it's the last one left on our planet... Townsperson Malcom: No matter how much you've helped us, we can't let you have it. Jasmine: But we have to get to the Planet of Fire... I need to save our teacher and Sugar from the pirates! Townsperson Jimmy: So you're going to fight the pirates? Townsperson Dickonson: You need to make better excuses than that!   • Now talk to the robot in the ship and head to the new destination, Planet of Fire, Raguafore.

  • Go east to find Sugar running off to the north. Follow her into the Village of Pots, Oliyeva and go north to see her disappear off somewhere. Go into the top-right house and speak to the Barrier Wizard, Koimari then exit. You'll see Sugar go in. Walk up to the door for an event.
Pomodoro: Hey... Wasn't that Sugar sneaking about there? Sugar comes out. Sugar: Ah... Pomodoro: I thought so! I have the qualities for a leader. Caffelatte: Sugar-san! What are you doing here?! Chai: Sugar, we've been looking for you! Jasmine: Sugar... What's wrong? What did you go to see Koimari for? Sugar: What did you guys come here for? Pomodoro: It's obvious isn't it!   • Exit the village and go down the rope in the SE corner. Follow the path round to go down 2 more ropes until you find Sugar. There you'll fight 2x Piscapook.

  • These things can use dark magic which can absorb under 60HP but inflict 200+ HP damage at the same time. Their single claw attacks cand o around 100+ damage.
  • Once you defeat the bosses, go inside the caves to recover using the pots. Make your way through the caves until you find Sugar going through a door. Tap the barrel to the right to find an old man for an event.
Yuga Tarba: Who- Who is it? Come to get me again?! No matter how many times you come to catch me, I'll always escape! ...Hmmm, looks like you're not Enigma. Just a moment... My name is Yuga Tarba.   • He will start the battle with a stench attack, silencing one or more of your members by giving them the cold. It takes a quite a few turns to wear off but you can use items to heal it. Gotsumu will also jump onto his assistants to pound you from high up in the air.

  • Depending on if you chose light or dark magic, you will use your character's magic to open the door after the boss fight.
