There’s no full voice acting in the game but plenty of sound and voice effects. There are a few lines of dialogue that are read out during cutscenes which are in-game but nothing very long. Lots of vocal tracks are used as BGM including JPOP artist Jyongri’s theme song, “Lullaby for You” and a whole selection of other kinds of music such as trance, rap, hip-hop, techno. All very stylish music that matches the art style very well. The only complaint I have is there are parts of the game where small segments of a vocal track is set on loop which means you end up listening to the same few words repeatedly. It can get pretty annoying.

Many mysteries surround the 7 day “Death God Game”
“It’s a Wonderful World” is another excellent RPG from Square-Enix but with a whole load of features that set it apart from the traditional systems that you might be used to in this kind of genre. There’s the most notable “Cross Slide Battle” system where you control two characters at once each on separate screens, an interesting “Brand Ranking” system that gives you a reason to catch up with the latest fashion in the game’s Shibuya and a real time eating food system for boosting your stats. The story itself is interesting with a few twists as you learn more about what this whole “Death God Game” is all about. It’s a very unique RPG experience wrapped up with a very lively, stylish and cool presentation.
