Some give it around a 7 and some give it a low to mid 9, so who’s telling the truth and actually played through the entire game?
Well IGN’s incredibly negative review has been edited a few times already but thanks to the guys over at NeoGaf the most scathing of comments in the original review were saved and they are:
Hilary: “I would go on to say that Assassins Creed would be the top 5 most dissapointing games of all time.” and “…this is a rental, there is no need to go back to play it more than once…in fact, you probably won’t even finish it once.”
Wow, that’s freaking harsh.

Could this be the ultimate Half-Life 2 mod?
Half-Life 2: Wars is released! Half-Life 2: Wars is a realtime strategy modification in the hl2 universum. This release is more like a small demo of the mod and is intended as a preview on the mod. The release is featuring two maps and most of the stuff you would expect in a rts game. Units can be recruited and resources are gained from control points. In later releases the mod will be expanded with base building, more units, worked out sides and multiplayer.

Deutsche Bank downgraded the stock (ERTS) to “Sell” and issued a price target of $45. Patel commented that while “Electronic Arts delivered 3Q upside… we think that the company still appears to be losing share (on a sellthrough basis) in the video game industry.”
Patel added that EA’s game quality is a concern: “Our investment thesis on Electronic Arts remains unchanged in that amidst solid growth industrywide, EA’s game quality remains questionable, which in turn could translate into ongoing market share losses and limit operating margin expansion to historical levels (seen in the previous cycle). In our opinion, the lack of major outperformance on unit volumes among a majority of EA’s titles, especially with a growing fixed R&D expense base, represents the single most important hurdle for the company.”

CAPCOM and Sony Picture’s Japanese subsidiary SPEJ have teamed up to give birth to a CG-animated BIOHAZARD with groundbreaking visual effects and a brand-new story line.

The full CG animation feature “BIOHAZARD: Degeneration” is currently in production, with plans for a terrifying release in 2008.
