Japan’s Wierdest Games You’ll Never Play

Segagaga

Set in the year 2025, the story depicts Sega with only a 3% share of the market. In Ota, Tokyo (where Sega was first set up in Japan 1951), the company forms Project Segagaga: a plan to save SEGA from its main competitor, the evil DOGMA (Which is clearly intended to be Sony, Sega’s biggest competitor at the time). As part of Project Segagaga, Sega takes two teenagers Tarō Sega (Sega Taro) (the player’s character) and Yayoi Haneda (Haneda Yayoi), and employ them to guide Sega to the top of the market. The game features cameo appearances from Sega characters past and present such as Alex Kidd and Sonic the Hedgehog. The game also references things associated with Sony’s PS1 and PS2. Several hidden games are parodies.

Dragon Quest V DS Announced And Dated For January

And with this tiny scan from the latest Famitsu magazine we can now confirm that Dragon Quest V is being remade and will be released in Japan on 01/22/2008. This news comes right as Dragon Quest IV is released in the land of the rising sun and received a 9 8 8 9 = 34 in the same issue of the magazine.
