Broken Rock Band Instrument Rate Extremely High

For the most part it’s the guitars having their necks falling off and for others the strumming wears out after a couple hours on hard songs. Some have even reported their drums being busted in pieces. Here are some of the hundreds of reports on the official forums and NeoGAF.

The guitar for this game is horrid. I thought that maybe I was doing something wrong when I played the guitar portion of this game, then I plugged in my xplorer (thank you hmx for doing something right) and it worked like a charm. I’m debating on either taking the entire pack back to walmart and getting a refund or just throwing the new guitar away and staying with the old, RELIABLE, guitar. Link

I opened the box and what do I find? The strat head has come off of the strat body and is lying in the bag with the strap! What the hell, Harmonix? I’m about to call up the EA game hint line and raise hell. link

I dented the shit outta the drums within 4 or 5 hours and I’m not even slamming them with the drumsticks. Drums are shitty and cheaply made, they shouldn’t have stopped stealing from Konami just at the idea and gameplay, and should have copied some actual well-made drums that actually stand up to countless hours of abuse and continue to function perfectly well. /rant link
