Official Wii SNES Pad For $30

As we reported earlier, the SNES (Super Famicom) style controller for the Wii will be hitting Japan via Club Nintendo in April 2008 and just as I predicted it’s already up for pre-order at major importers.

At NCSX they’ve priced it and at PlayAsia they say pre-orders are opening soon.

Nintendo reaches back a few console generations, grabs the Super Famicom controller, and retrofits it for use on the Wii’s Virtual Console. Please note this item is exclusive to Club Nintendo Platinum members in Japan. Preorders ship in April 2008 at US$30 each.
