Square Enix Gets Into The Wine Business

11.06.07

I like this post!

As part of their DS Style line of titles, they will soon release “How to begin with Wine DS” along with a special edition pack that includes a bottle of wine from their partner Mercian. The software teaches Wine connoisseurs about all kinds of wines through a large listing and tests.

According to several sources the bottle that comes with the DS software is quite good.

Dourthe N°1
“The latest vintages under the Dourthe N° 1 label are further proof that branded Bordeaux has stepped up a notch. The 2002 Sauvignon, with input from white wine guru Denis Dubourdieu, has zippy gooseberry and lemon fruit, plus a creamy richness from extended lees contact. The Michel Rolland-inspired red is equally fine, with hints of toasty oak, cedar, blackcurrant and plum, and a sappy, refreshing finish.”

The whole set only costs 4,830 Yen or around $43 dollars making this set a steal.
