Sega Ages 2500 Series Vol. 22 Advanced Daisenryaku Review

While most of the games in the Sega Ages series have had their own unique reasons for being welcomed into the collection as either remakes or historic sets, a few of the titles in the 27 volumes released so far have been strange exceptions. For example, take Sega Ages Volume 22: Advanced Daisenryaku. Unlike many of the other titles, Advanced Daisenryaku really just doesnt hold up as a game that anyone would want to be playing these days as since its 1991 debut on the Sega Genesis, there have only been about a dozen sequels and spin-offs in the same series (not to mention all the other strategy games released) and each game has done well to further improve on the classic war game formula. But then again, its not as if Advanced Daisenryaku is the only Sega Ages title that doesnt hold up gameplay-wise in modern times.
