With the Sega Ages series, Sega has often attempted to pack as few games as possible into each collection release in order to maximize profits. But to do this without upsetting the general consumer and making the titles feel like rip-offs, theyve also worked hard to pack loads of extras into each volume or include games that are worthy of the 2500yen price. But in Sega Ages Volume 23: Sega Memorial Collection, the company has tried to do things a bit differently than usual. With this volume, Sega has attempted to copy the formula Namco has been using with their anthologies and include around a half-dozen old arcade titles and around a half-dozen brand new remakes of those same titles. With Namcos most recent attempt at this on the PSP, it paid off with a wonderful remake of Pac-Man. How did Segas attempt fare?
